Accreditation Resources
DHS 35 allows for the waiver of recertification inspections and certain other requirements if a clinic is accredited by a recognized national accrediting body. The Council on Accreditation (COA) and the Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) are accrediting organizations recognized by the Department of Health Services.
