Healing Trauma through the Collaborative Change Model  •  3-part online consultation series (4.5 CE hours)
Fridays from 9-10:30 AM, May 18, June 15 and July 13 (Enrollment Limited to 25 participants. Prerequisites: 1) Must attend April 26 workshop; 2) Computer access and ability to login to Adobeconnect webinar platform)

This case consultation group provides an opportunity to extend your learning from the April 26 workshop. will provide an opportunity for more in depth clinical exploration of the Collaborative Change Model, therapist and other caring professionals use of self and clinical interventions. Participants will receive articles to read before each group. Each session will begin with a 30 minute discussion of the assigned article; Followed by two case consultations.  Each participant will receive an outline describing the presentation format for the consultation.   

 Learning Objectives:

  • How to monitor self, other, and relationship regulation
  • How to establish a healthy attachment with client and avoid merger or avoidance
  • How to manage client interactions so that the treatment process does not become a triggering event

Consultation Presenter:

Anita Mandley, MS, LCPC, is an integrative psychotherapist practicing at The Center for Contextual Change, in Skokie, Illinois. Anita works with clients with Complex PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Eating Disorders and a variety of self-injurious behaviors.   She works with different parts of her clients through a variety of therapeutic interventions, including relational therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Expressive Arts, Imagery, Somatic Experiencing and Somatic Touch for regulation and trauma resolution.   She is currently excited about her Integrative Trauma Recovery Group, ITR, a group therapy process she designed specifically for adults with Developmental and Complex PTSD.  Anita also enjoys providing supervision and consultation, as well as presenting workshops on a variety of topics.
