WAFCA fosters system improvements and quality programming by keeping members connected and informed of the latest on evidence-based and promising practices in the field. 
We promote the development of efficient and cost-effective human services by connecting members to share best practices and supporting the transfer of research to service delivery. 


Professional Development

For more than 25 years, WAFCA has provided quality, timely continuing education for professional serving children and families in Wisconsin. Each year, we train more than 1,000 individuals including social workers, therapists, counselors, case managers, residential care workers, parenting support aides and in-home support workers on topics ranging from family systems to addiction and trauma. More on WAFCA-CE

Leadership Development

WAFCA sponsors three major leadership events each year for our member executives and leaders. Through these events and other opportunities to collaborate, we provide a forum for human service, social service, child and family and mental health leaders to share from their experience and work together to improve the quality of services and the lives of the families & children entrusted to their care. More on Leadership Events
