Motivational Interviewing Spring-freshers! With Laura Saunders, MSSW

This 3 part series is intended to support the increased use of Motivational Interviewing spirit and skills in your practice setting: mental/physical health care, schools, home, corrections, communities of faith, or anywhere else that you think MI would be a benefit to you and the people who you seek to help.

Each session will include a bit of didactic speaking to remind you of concept basics and then we'll move quickly into practicing. We'll use introspection, polls, and chat to learn from one another.

Topic #1: Challenges to MI Spirit; especially when there's a crisis going on!

DATE: May 6th / TIME: 1PM - 2PM

Topic #2: Responding to language about change (even if it's teeny tiny)

DATE: May 19 / TIME: 1PM - 2PM

Topic #3: Be deliberate with your reflections: Don't overuse empathy and ignore the change or vice versa

DATE: May 26 / TIME: 1PM - 2PM

The Motivational Interviewing refresher webinars are being provided free of charge. 1 hour of CE will be provided to all who:

1) register
2) participate in the full hour of training
3) complete the federal GPRA survey (this is short and helps keep the MHTTC funded), and
4) complete the WAFCA survey (also brief) regarding the event itself

CEs for this webinar will be issued utilizing the name and email address of the person who registered for and participated in the event.
