scription: This workshop is designed to provide the most curre
nt skills to enhance ethical supervision practice including cultural humili
ty, competencies, supervision guidelines and best practices, the supervisor
y relationship, strain, ruptures, repair, reflective practice, diversity an
d multiculturalism in all aspects, assessment, feedback, and evaluation str
ategies, legal and ethical frames, self-care, and management of supervisees
not meeting performance competency standards. Through a competency-based f
rame, interactive meta-theoretical strategies for practice are developed th
rough practice exercises, skill-building, video review, and reflection. About our Offerings: WAFCA has been approved by
NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6778. Programs
that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. WAFCA is solel

nformation: Carol A. Falender, PhD, is co-author or co-editor of m
ultiple books on clinical supervision and one on consultation, and has writ
ten many articles. She has conducted workshops and symposia internationally
. She directed APA-accredited internship programs for over 20 years, was a
member of the Supervision Guidelines Group of the Association of State and
Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB), and was Chair of the Supervision Guid
elines Task Force of APA. Dr. Falender is a fellow of APA (Divisions 29, 37
, 43), adjunct professor of Pepperdine University, and clinical professor i
n the UCLA Psychology Department. She received the 2018 Distinguished Caree
r Contributions to Education and Training in Psychology Award from APA.
