School-Based Mental Health Advocacy Day - May 3

The week of May 2-8 is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and we are using the first day of the week to outreach to our legislators and share success stories from Wisconsin's comprehensive school-based mental health programs across the state! Just a few easy steps to raise your voice and share your story to advance mental well being for all Wisconsin students! Help promote:

  • Continuing to grow school-based mental health services grants
  • Investing in our mental health workforce
  • Advancing parity coverage for telehealth
Get a head start. The Joint Finance Committee is taking comments on their Budget Portal through Friday April 30, 21. Get a head start on our advocacy day by sharing your message with the important state budget writing committee. Need talking points? Check out the SMH Policy Priorities here!
