Presented by Patricia Clason, RCC

*Up to 4 CE credits will be issued to those attending this virtual opportunity.
Details: September 14 (10:00am - 2:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break)

Description: Stress is actually important to our well-being. However, it becomes dis-stress when the challenges of life are overwhelming and constant. We find ourselves suffering from a lack of rest and relaxation and we end up pushing the body past its healthy limits. Add to this emotional imbalance, as people ignore their feelings in favor of tasks and stress becomes a negative force in our lives. Take the stress assessment before the session to help you focus your learning and identify important next steps. You’ll leave the session with valuable insights, creative techniques and comic relief to help you lighten the stress load.

Learning Objectives
  • Take the Stress Management Assessment to identify specific areas of distress and need
  • Discover the role of adrenaline in distress and how to break your adrenaline addiction
  • Learn Quick tips for DeStressing and shifting to a peaceful focus
  • Identify how laughter is a useful tool and practice your laugh
  • Define your personal Work/Life Balance and set goals for practicing a healthy balancing act
