Collaboration is among the ubiquitous buzzwords of the times. Within the root of the word is “co-labor” – working together. Yet genuine collaboration requires more of us than working alongside one another toward a shared goal. It requires an investment in understanding the “why” of those we are working with and a commitment to share from our own personal and organizational strengths while honoring the perspective and contribution of our “co-laborers.”

Join us in Madison on March 9-10, 2023 for our annual WAFCA Leadership Summit as we seek to strengthen our collaborative skills to improve our teams, our network, and our systems of care. We will engage in interactive discussions and exercises to expand our capacity to listen and communicate toward shared-purpose, while also engaging with partner stakeholders, state leaders and policy makers to take our collaborations to the systems level. The two-day event features ample time for networking along with a chance to connect with policy makers in the Capitol city as the 2023-25 state biennial budget kicks off.
