Motivational Interviewing Refresher Webinar
Wednesday, May 06, 2020, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CDT
Category: WAFCA CE Training

Motivational Interviewing Spring-freshers!

This is part 1 of a 3 part series intended to support the increased use of Motivational Interviewing spirit and skills in your practice setting: mental/physical health care, schools, corrections, communities of faith, or anywhere else that you think MI would be a benefit to you and the people who you seek to help. Each session will include a bit of didactic speaking to remind you of concept basics and then we'll move quickly into practicing. We'll use introspection, polls, and chat to learn from one another.

Topic #1: Challenges to MI Spirit; Especially when there's a crisis going on!

This training is being provided with funding support from the Great Lakes Mental Health Technology Transfer Center and is free of charge. 1 hour of CE will be provided to all who:

1) complete registration in Zoom (it is not necessary to register through WAFCA's system)
2) participate in the full hour of training
3) complete the federal GPRA survey (this is short and helps keep the MHTTC funded), and
4) complete the WAFCA survey (also brief) regarding the event itself.
